Supernatural:
This week was "Provenance" and short but sweet..I liked Sarah. That last scene I had a big soppy grin on my face..LOL!
Other TV :
Next week is the season finales of Bones, Cold Case & Prison Break :-( And with only a couple of eps of NCIS & SPN to go..that only leaves me with a little more 24 and lots more Lost. I'm gonna be lost..LOL! Emm..except there is that little thing of The World Cup!
The World Cup :
Yep that starts a week today and goes on for a month. The group stages there are three live televised matches a day! So there is gonna be little else on the TV anyway.
The country has been gearing up towards this for months, but now everywhere you go/look is the England flag..clothes, attached to cars, hanging out of bedroom windows, badges, mugs..you name it, it's there.. We went to the Supermarket yesterday and there was a huge England flag on the wall and the cashiers were all wearing badges. Yes..we do love our Football..
Are we immune? Not on your life..L&G have England t-shirts, Chloe Pj's, Hubby shorts and when we were looking one of the girls came up to me and said how about these Mum?..she was holding up an itsy-bitsy bra & knickers set..no way..LOL!
So whether the England football team are gonna play well or suck , there is another good thing that comes out of this.. throughout the tournament the atmosphere in England changes, people are nicer to each other..happens every time and I've seen a fair few of them!
Weather Rant :
It's June 2nd and it's still freakin cold! Still having to wear a coat out and having changed to a summer duvet on the bed I had to get up in the night this week and get a blanket!!!..bleh!! Come on warm sunny days, the English summer is short enough as it is..
