Internet Woes

I have been without internet and email access since Monday night :-(

Switched on the comp first thing Tues, it couldn't establish a connection. Rang Virgin Media spent half an hour on the phone with them and they didn't know why it wouldn't connect. Error message was RPC sever is unavailable and he didn't know how to fix it. *headdesk*

Rang the support helpline for the comp as it's still under warrenty, and they said it's a connection issue..can't help you. ..grrr!!

So i went through the phonebook found a computer repair shop and they were going to come late this afternoon.
But guess what..me who isn't computer savvy and who is a constant source of amusement to my brother ..fixed it :-)
I found the disc Telewest Blueyonder (Virgin took them over) gave me when they originally installed my Broadband.. and i re-insatalled it..and voila!!

Now why the bloody hell couldn't the guy at Virgin suggest that in the first place!! :-(

So yeah, for someone so obsessed like me who doesn't go more than a few hours without internet in some shape or form..it's been murder!!

I didn't go completely without my SPN fix though..I've read Nevermore and watched Shadow, BUABS and Croatoan :-)

Anyways I'm back..have 250+ emails to wade through, but I haven't got a cat in hells chance of catching up with livejournal.

So if there is something of yours you want me to see, or if somethings been posted which you know I'd like to see..I'd appreciate a link. Thanks!
