Okay just read the new Sera Gamble Interview, which contains SPOILERS for the last four episodes of the season.

My knee jerk reaction...

I'm really not happy that the last episode is Dean's last day! Before the strike was over Kripke said that he wasn't going to rush the storyline..well this seems rushed to me. especially with her talk of the next episode we get to see when it returns.

But Kripke I do trust you so..I'll just have to continue too.. and see how it plays out.

I do wish I'd left reading that till tomorrow though..today being Jensen's birthday, I was in a good happy place LOL!

I just finished reading the interview myself. My first thought was the same--Kripke said they wouldn't rush it. Then I had a really bad thought--I bet it's going to be a cliffhanger.

I didn't like Hell House so I'm not too impressed that that one is going to be more lighthearted.
That leaves 3 episodes,so yeah cliffhanger..LOL!

I don't mind a cliffhanger so much..I guess it's not their fault with the strike and all, but we would have got another 6 episodes after this four..so screams rushed to me :-(

It's not so much that I hate the idea of a cliffhanger, but what I think that cliffhanger's going to be that has me disturbed. The season one cliffhanger had me biting my nails over the summer hiatus, but it was pretty much a far gone conclusion that they wouldn't kill off the main characters, but car was another matter as was John.

If they do what I think they're going to do for this season's ender, it's going to be a very long summer.

I agree with you! I was shocked when she said that it would be in the season finale! I wished and hoped that they wouldnt rush that particular storyline but it seems that it isn't so...

*hugs* but...I'm hoping that they do it well and give it justice- maybe even end it on a cliffhanger

don't kill me, but say cliffhanger like Dean is just about to be saved and the credits roll at that precise moment. LOL

I won't mind so much if they do end it on a cliffhanger..at least it won't be so rushed and lots of speculation then..*g*

Just have to keep faith that they will do it justice!

Great interview. Sera always gives such great scoops on the episodes. But, yeah...I'm not happy either about them hurrying along Dean's storyline by the end of the season. I was hoping they would take their time and like Kripke said, not rush it. This also seems like the wrong time to have a light-hearted episode. That leaves them with only 3 episodes to deal with Dean. I'm sure they know what they're doing, but I can't help but be a little nervous about all this.

Why do I have this awful feeling that they're not going to be able to get Dean out of this deal? *bites nails*

Yep! But I've said before that I wouldn't mind Dean going to Hell if it was done right. We shall see..

While I usually stay spoiler free, I did read the interview. My first reaction was that they're going to leave off on a cliffhanger with whether Dean goes to hell or not. And I really hate that idea. As everybody else said, from what Kripke said before I thought they were going to stretch out that storyline through at least some portion of next season and not rush it. Also, I hope that while that first episode back is supposed to be all light and funny, they don't forget that Sam just went through something huge. I want to see the fall out from that.

I don't mind cliffhangers if it's done right.

As for the light and funny..I wasn't a fan of hell House and with so few eps to go, I don't know how appropriate it is here.

Guess I'll just have to wait and see!

Thanks for the article, Jo! I expected Dean's deal to come with the season finale--durned writer's strike just pushed up the timetable. I would have hated to deal with it next season though so I'm not too sad.

I'm just hoping they do the storyline justice..4 eps left instead of ten..perhaps I'm just being greedy LOL!
It's not their fault but that storyline has so much potential.

But in kripke we trust..LOL!

Well, Kripke hasn't completely failed us before. I think it will turn out alright and not feel rushed once we see what happens.

I'm pretty bummed about ep 3.13 too 'cause well, there just doesn't seem to be time for it and, dude, why? just, why? Seems rather pointless and it will break the momentum set up by Jus in Bello.

But we'll see...

But she said it's Dean's last day - but she didn't tell about resolving the deal - so maybe it's not rush, maybe it's their plan of torturing us the whole summer... I don't know... right now i want them to resolve the deal in the end of the season cos i can't imagine how i'll survive the summer if they won't...

Actually I'm hoping it's not resolved..cause one lighthearted ep and then 3 and it's over..

Nope ..I'll just have to deal ;-)

Yep, one light ep and i think they need it right there and then they start to kill us. Still not sure about deal's resolving - i think it'll be cliff - but either with deal or with something new, i don't know... they can solve the deal and kill us with the circumstances, for example.

Right there with you and big pack of Kleenex. I think i start sob from 314... will warm myself to the finale...

Another thought - they must show us that Sam saved Dean and they're happy and relaxed and suddenly it;s not - it was an illusion to take last time and Sam didn't save him and he's in shock along with all fans... and Dean *izsibbing*

I was thinking the same thing when I read the interview. Kripke said he was keeping the Dean's deal storyline for next season. But on the other hand I'm really curious to see how it pans out and which solution they've come up with for Dean's deal. So I'm like, I want to see it, but hopefully it won't be too rushed.

Introducing yet another hunter? *sigh* I'm not too crazy about that. At least it's a man, hehe. We'll see.

I'm curious about the next episode now. In "documentary" style. That so reminds me of the "X-cops" episode in The X-Files. I'm seeing so much similarities between these two shows lately, episode-wise. Not that I mind. :)

I don't want to see it resolved yet, so i was happy when Kripke said he wasn't, so now..who knows..

Another hunter..*shrugs*..they really could have used Ellen more..

As for that ep..I didn't like Hell House much..so I'm hoping it's alot better than it comes across in the interview..plus i don't see the point of a light ep when there are so few left.

But I'm keeping the faith..LOL!

Am pretty much with you on the matter. Don't know if you read that interview with Jared in which he revealed some plot stuff concerning the deal and Sam but I was squeeing over it and I just don't know if a shortened version will work this good. *pulls hair* Ah well, four more episodes. Let's just hope for the best. KRIPKE!!

I'm writing the penultimate episode of the season right now, and it introduces a new hunter. I don't want to say too much about him, because today he’s a paranoid survivalist type, but by the time the episode’s finished he might be a friendly female goatherd from Normandy. Each of the writers has an idea or two for a hunter, and we wait to see where we can plug ‘em in. It’s all about waiting for right story.

Ehhh. Did I understand it right, that the new hunter will be a SHE again? My goodness, I start getting an impression that Hunting was meant to be for women! Demons are mostly women, too. Aren't you...a bit bored by this concept? Or Kripke&Gamble are so insecure about S&D that they are not willing to give them (or oppose them) a MALE hunter who is equal with the bros in his skills and might be yet their opposite in his behavior? I have a feeling sometimes that the show is is obssessed with female characters because the creaters don't want to create "competition" for the Winchesters by introducing another interesting male hunter. Though I thin kthat the bros and the show will only WIN from that!

Also, I read a bit through the commentaries under the article and was amazed how many people HATE Bela. I agree, her character is used as a plot device and needs a better "writing", but switching channels when she's on screen? Gah. Don't take her so to heart, darlings!

I'm really not happy that the last episode is Dean's last day! Hmmm. Well, this would work for me if Dean DOES turn into a demon and in season 4 this is developed and then he's brought back somehow to be human. But well, I don't think this will happen /sigh/

I think it's a he, and she was joking about that. Personally I wish they had just used Ellen more.

I'm with you on Dean's last day..I don't want to see it resolved yet and I wouldn't mind him going to hell so..

I guess we just have to hope!
