I don't normally do personal memes, but I did this one and it's probably way more than you want to know..LOL! So look while you can.

"You know how sometimes people on your friend's list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when are they working THERE? Since when are they dating HIM/HER? since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you *should* already know? It happens to all of us sometimes."



1) First name: Joanne, but I prefer Jo. Dad calls me Josh and my brother Chris calls me Weenas!! He always made up names for me as kids and that one stuck :-(

2) Age: 44

3) Location: Lordswood, Chatham, England for the last five years. Before that I was born and lived in Maidstone.
If I could have the house I have now , where I lived before in Maidstone I'd be happy, but I don't so...

4) Occupation: Before the kids came along I was an Assistant Manager in a Travel Agency. Since then Foreign Exchange Cashier, Night Care Assistant in a Residential Home for the elderly, Registered Childminder..but currently I'm a lady of leisure!

5) Partner: My lovely hubby Keith. We have been together for 22 years and married for 19! Understanding of my fandom obsessions..LOL!

6) Kids: Three girls.. Twins Lauren and Gemma 13 who were the result of our 2nd attempt at IVF.
Chloe 3, who was our very big surprise and came along naturaly 10 years later!

So yeah I bitch and moan, and tear my hair out over them quite regularly, but I love them to bits, wouldn't be without them and I do realize how lucky we are to have them.

7) Brothers: Chris who is 2 years younger than me. We fought like cats and dogs as kids, but grew out of it..LOL! He is in a long term, long distance relationship, and goes to Holland every other weekend to spend time with her and her kids.

Dave who is 7 years younger than me. My baby brother who is way taller than me..LOL! He was married very briefly.

So no, neither have them have made me an Aunty :-( And they both currently live with my Dad.

I do miss not having had a sister.


8) Pets: None.. Had cats, dogs, budgies, hamsters as kids , but now I say my kids are more than enough for me ;-)

9)List the 3-5 biggest things going on in your life:
I'll pass thanks..it's boring and depressing.

10)Where and for what did you go to school for: I went to school in Maidstone and then to college in London..which was in Leicester Square but isn't even there now..LOL! I studied for a BTEC National Diploma in Business and Finance with Travel and Tourism Options and passed with a distinction.


11) Parents: My dad is Brian, and my mum Sonia. My mum died 11 years ago, she was like my best friend and I still find it really hard to talk about her.
Although we wouldn't mind, there hasn't been anyone else for my dad since.

Hubbys mum died before we had kids and his dad way before that, so I never met him.

12) Who are some of your closest friends? Don't really have any. I wasn't one for going around in a group growing up, I had one or two close friends but they moved away.
As I am really shy and pretty isolated here, I haven't made any.

There you go, now you know..LOL!

My lovely hubby Keith. We have been together for 22 years and married for 19! Understanding of my fandom obsessions..LOL! Heh. I can relate here. Meaning, I have a hub who is aware of my slash obssession. Ok, we don't discuss it, but he knows what it is. Eeh. He does not interfere, that's one great thing. But then he always thrives on me reccing him shows to watch. Supernatural however is not to his taste. And I can clearly see why.

The girls did ask when they were younger, but Gemma was always too nervous around them..
Now she has grown out of that, but i have to admit to being selfish. I'd get left to look after them, and I don't really want to..but never say never..

We were told we'd probably never have kids naturally, had done the usual round of tests and were ready to be booked for IVF. We then went on holiday, in a caravan with the most uncomfortable bed and ....our little Cornish pixie was on her way.

Your right about pets though, I'm the one who feeds and cleans, that which is why I won't have a dog - I refuse to poop and scoop ewww

Really..LOL! I only ever got called my full name by my mum & dad if I was in trouble!

LOL my full name- Dania is used at university and with friends, only my family call me Dani, but ONLY my parents call me by my first and second names when I'm in big trouble- but that's very seldom :P
