I was recced over here from someone else's journal and I just wanted to say that these are absolutely beautiful. The colours are gorgeous, but also I don't think I've ever seen black and white look so sharp. It just seems to bring out more detail. And the use of texture is just...you made me jealous ;)

And I think I'm taking icon 15, because I so desperately want a really pretty John one. So thank you for that!

Guh!!! I absolutely love them all (banners and lovebars)! Which is an extremely rare compliment from me! I try hard to achieve such clear crisp imaging in my own blends and fail almost every time! Definitely saving banners and a couple of love bars. I can't even decide which ones I like more...even the one with Papa J though I'm not a huge fan of him.

Heh, then we have exchanged mutual compliments, because I try hard but fail (mostly) to achieve such clarity or effect that you have. But then I'm always tempted to use more and more textures and blend lots and lots of images into one.

Then I noticed you are using PaintPro while Im using good olde Photoshop. I understand that PSP has some " filters" one can use to put on images and cut-image function is much easier...

Yeah, I don't know Photoshop.

Haven't really used filters, though I have been experimenting with some plug-ins.

I use the freehand selection tool and feather at about 30 to cut out images..sometimes it works well..sometimes it doesn't.
