This is why I hate snow! It turns to ice and then the paths are a bloody skating rink!

Yesterday..just got outside our gate..down Chloe goes, and I followed landing on my knees..OUCH!!
Chloe went over twice more, she didn't hurt herself though as I had hold of her had tightly and slowed her desent. And that was keeping to the grass areas and roads, and off the paths where we could.

Lauren fell twice on her way home from School bruising her bum and shoulder. And with her breaking her ankle last year, it makes me anxious.

We haven't had anymore snow since Monday, but it's so cold it's not melting and we just have frost on top of the ice.

Did I say I hate snow..*grumble..grumble*

Oh, honey! Poor you :( And your poor girls, too. I'm quite lucky in that where I live is kind of sheltered from the worst of the cold weather.

That said, I'm going an hour down the coast today so we shall see if I end up bruised and battered!

Oh, I'm so sorry! I hate snow too :( Luckily I've only fallen once this winter and have got some really good new boots. Not sure how much held they'll be once all this snow starts melting in spring...

I hope you're knees will be better soon and that there are no more falls!

Nope it isn't, I had to change the comments page to the livejournal default one. Otherwise I would have had to change layouts again.

When I tried to comment, the comment box appeared over the top of the first person who replied to that entry. I kept having to hit the more options, so I'd get an empty box to comment in!

Yes, ice is another reason I hate snow. I walk really funny to avoid falling, but often fall anyway. And then I usually hurt my knees. Bring on spring, yes, bring on spring!

god i hear you! and we don't even have snow. i fell and busted my knee on a small patch of ice. now i'm laying in my bed, knee lifted and ice on it. at least nothing's broken.
