I'm sure it will come as no surprise that I really enjoyed My Bloody Valentine :-)

I not usually big on horror movies, but as well as having the pleasure of seeing Mr Ackles on the big screen..I LOVED the whole 3D experience, and I'm so glad that I wasn't spoiled for who the killer was.

Hubby enjoyed it too, and we saw the trailer for Friday The 13th and he raised no objections to going to see that either *g*

The only thing that slightly spoiled it...bloody rude people who sit behind you and talk through the film..wanted to take a pick axe to their heads..grr!

Glad you enjoyed it... and your husband, too. So you can drag him to Friday 13th. It's always good to have someone with you to jump on if it gets too creepy...
And I hate people like that. That's what I got my death glare for, lol!

Ugh. What is it with people talking during the movie?? We had that too and it was so annoying!!!

I swear I'm going to go to a matinee one day next week in hopes to be alone when I watch it just so I can enjoy it without rude people!

I loved the 3-D aspect too. That is so cool they can do movies like that!

Yeah, I can't understand why they do that!

I'd never experienced 3-D before..now I'm gonna expect all horror movies to be like that, and sadly they won't be.

You are the second person on my flist to say they have had people talking during this movie.

And I'm sorry but I am WAY too big of a chicken to see this...LOL

I'm glad you liked it! And good Hubby to go with you to this AND to not raise objections for Friday the 13th (which I'm also not seeing, because of aforementioned chicken-ness)!

I can't understand why people PAY to go to see a film and then talk through it!

LOL! Yes it was gory, but it was also funny in places and the 3-D really made it :-)

I told Hubby back when they were filming ,that I'd be dragging him to see them..luckily I haven't had to drag..LOL!

I'm not surprised you won't be watching..not if you couldn't watch last weeks SPN ;-)

I'm waiting for the DVD or pay per view. It's not available in 3D in my area, which is bad enough, but then I found out that less than a week after it's release my brilliant local theater only has it on at one night showing. As you can imagine, I'm really annoyed.

I'm glad you got to enjoy it on the big screen and in 3-D. The irony is that I was talking myself out of seeing it in the theater, because I'm a wimp, but once I decided to see it, I find out I can't or at least won't because going at night is just too expensive for my budget.

That's a shame! I hope when you do, you have the glasses because that's what makes the film..apart from Jensen of course..LOL!
I didn't realise you got to keep the glasses, so at least we have them for when the DVD comes out.

It was expensive 10.50 GBP per ticket, I don't know what that is in $, but for the price of hubby and me to go we could have had the DVD and then had money over for popcorn and cokes!

Wow. That is a lot for a movie ticket, at least where I live. I looked up the conversion out of curiosity. 10.50 GBP converts to 14.44 in US dollars. A matinee is about 6 dollars and 50 cents, I think. It's 8 something to go at night. I can't imagine spending 14 dollars for a movie ticket, though I think that's actually cheaper than it is in large US cities. 14 dollars will almost buy a new release DVD. :-)

I want to see Jensen on the big screen. I never have. I might just have to bite the bullet and go see it at night next week. The only remaining problem is that it's currently showing in the nasty side of the theater. Every time I go in there it smells like mold. I can't seem to win.

1 hour and about 15 minutes until SPN. :-)

Hee! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. It was so worth it to see him all pretty and floating above the big screen. I need more of that right now.

Glad you enjoyed the movie, Jo. I thought Jensen's performance was excellent, way beyond what you usually see in a horror movie. And the 3D did make it - I feel bad for the folks who aren't going to be able to see it that way. Fairly sure the DVDs will be 2D as well, sadly... And without dropping spoilers... Jensen in that wifebeater was a thing of beauty. Must give some kudos to Jaime King, too, for playing a heroine who wasn't a complete girly. Really looking forward to my boy Jared's turn in F13 now!

In other news, my internet is intermittently gubbed and I may not be able to download tonight's Supernatural. I am distraught!

Jamie sure did look different in the film and at the premiere! I liked her :-)

Jensen...MMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus those moments when you felt you could touch him with the 3-D! Yeah..not the same if you can't experience it that way.
Totally different from Dean..he was still so expressive!

I'm looking forward to seeing Jared..I've only seen him in House Of wax apart from SPN.

Hope you got to see the ep okay.

I hate when people talk at the movies! Thankfully, no one was talking during the movie when I saw it. The 3-D made it so much fun!

I think they might have been the EXACT same people who sat behind us. UGH, I wanted to turn and tell them to shut the hell up, go chat outside. Why do people do that, why don't they realize how RUDE that is?
