This is whiney and self centered so pass on by.

So we are starting to *see* as well as hear about the photo ops with the boys at VanCon. While I love seeing them and I really am pleased that people got a good experience with them... it's also making me a little pissed off, jealous and depressed over the photo ops we got at Asylum!

Juvenile maybe, but I can't help it. :-(

Also still no pics I can use for graphics which I'm itching to do..LOL! I could open up the folder I started on Lucifer Rising back in May and do those, but I think I'm probably better off taking myself off the comp as I'm not likely to cheer myself up on here today.

It's so disappointing :-( Perhaps it's also something to do with they only have to be on for one day, but it's not fair.

I heard that Jensen put his foot down about the photo ops and demanded that they at least let them say hi and such to the people *sigh*

I can't wait for you to get your hands on some pics! That'd be great! :)

Hi Jo, never EVER think you are whiney or self-centred 'cos I feel exactly the same way. I think we were conned, I think Asylum were money-grabbing conmen who could see no further than their wallets, and I really, really think we should complain about what happened there. I, like you, am looking at those hugs, seeing that interaction and the great time the people, and boys had at Vancon, and am finding it more and more difficult to go into posts that I know people are squeeing over!!!!!!! I'm almost scared to talk to M when she gets back, and know she'll find it hard to tell us because she knows what happened at Asylum

It's a catch 22, I want to look but I don't :-( I'm gonna be happy for M and I want to see them, but I know I'm going to be jealous.

I'm wondering if it's also the boys only having to be on for one day, that they get a different experience than we had. Tisn't fair though!

I'm hormonal as well, so I shouldn't look. I just put some washing out and now it's raining..is gonna be one of those days!

Oh Jo, I couldn't help but laugh when you mentioned the washing - now that really is a bummer when you're already feeling crap!!!!!!!

I keep trying to avoid the pics then feel bad for doing so, but you, like me, are probably never going to see the boys again or experience a con, and it just wasn't fair what we got from Asylum. I have my J2 pic up in the bedroom and though I have a great view of Jared, Jensen is even more cut off by the frame and there's almost a foot gap between him and me - it's so not right!!!!!! We had so many expectations from Asylum and when I look back now I can't help but feel sad. Do you know that I've still not watched any of the Sunday Jared or Jensen panel vids because I missed both of them, it makes me feel too sad to even contemplate doing so.

That is what makes it so hard..that was our experince and it wasn't a good one.

Luckily I did see some of Jared's panel before I went to get auto's but yeah I missed Jensen's and haven't watched it either :-(

I was gonna say hope you don't take too much flack but I see J has..don't take that too hard she thinks the sun shines out W & P's arses!

So we have germs but they don't!..LOL! And the photographer was bad..which we knew but it's okay they aren't using him again *er*..that does nothing for those that don't get to go to a convention again!

I can see that our boys may have been worried but let's face it, a hug would not have exposed them anymore to Swine Flu bugs than just being in the room with so many people. When I asked Jared if I was allowed to touch his shoulder in the photo-op he said they (as in the boys) weren't allowed to!!

I'm with you, Jo. Not so much about the pics and all, because I haven't even looked at any, nor read any reports outside the Tweet thread when it was happening.

I get so tired hearing the same people squeeing and sharing their happy, happy times after every one of these things while the rest of us, I dunno, worry about paying bills, ya know?

I know hun, I am lucky that I got to see them, but I can't help being jealous that we all paid our money but didn't get the same experience. That was my chance..unless I suddenly win the lottery AND it goes to a sixth season ..my only one and the photo ops weren't good at Asylum.

He did look happy, and I am pleased about that..but it's catch 22.
