World Cup

England played their opening match against Paraguay this afternoon, and..umm.yes..well..LOL!

The best thing is we won 1-0 and not much else. The first half was okay, the second bleh..but at least we won and that is the most important for your opening game.

Then I saw wide_ocean did a running commentary for it, thanks hon you had me ROFL!

Just so you know, I'm expecting you brits to keep me up to date, because watching the World Cup here in the states is bloody well impossible.

Got to see a bit of the Ger-CRC game yesterday only because I made them go to El Toro for lunch. I knew they'd have the satellite Univision feed playing...lol.

:-( I'm sure we will. Sweden only drew with Trinidad & Tobago today and they are in England's group. So that's good.
wide_ocean who I mentioned in my post is German and is football mad, so they'll be lots from her I expect.
