Fic Recs Question

Okay, fic rec posts generally don't got commented on so it would be useful if all you kind peeps on my flist would let me know your opinion.

Do you even read the post? Do you find them useful? Are the recs just not your cup of Tea? Or are you not into fanfiction?

Please can you fill out the poll and/or comment. I'd really like to know so I'm not gonna be offended by your answers.

You usually post recs that are not so much my genre, so often I just bookmark them and pull them out when I run out of gen to read. And then I feel stupid commenting on an old post, so I don't. :">

More of a Wincest, RPS sort of Gal ? I have started reading it, but I'm not a fan of PWP in those kinda fics and there doesn't seem to be many long, angsty, plot-y ones..or I just haven't found them.
There is a couple of RPS WIP's that I'm enjoying though.

Yep, I'm more for the shippy than the gen - I mean, I get my share of gen on the show. Not that I mind it in fic, and there's a lot of short-ish one-shot genfics that I enjoy. But the longer ones just tend to be either not-so-well-written or boring, in my experience; it's just much harder to do a good plotty piece than just personal interaction, and I'm insanely picky when it comes to writing styles and (most importantly) characterization.

Uhm, yeah. Rambling, sorry.
