SPN : After seeing last nights episode..

...I'm still very much in the pro Jo camp..but I'm not seeing romance.

I think Ellen is FRICKIN AWESOME, and I think for the first time since watching SPN the monster of the week freaked me the fuck out! I'm glad I got to watch it in the daylight..LOL!


ETA: I just went insane and had a look at the CW SPN board to see the reaction...the Dean & Jo show,...totally ruined the programme..poor Sam got pushed out..BLAH..BLAH..bloody BLAH...

IT WAS ONE EPISODE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really feel sorry for Kripke he must be wondering about this fandom.

I feel bad for the actress more than anything else. I will say Sam wasnt in it much, but I really liked the Dean/Jo dynamic. I think they are great. Last nights ep made me like her even more.

If I were Kripke I would worry about people's sanity. Like I said in my journal entry, they ruined this fandom for me. I have officially left it, and according to some of my flist Im not the only one. They better watch out or this fandom is going to get a bad reputation. :/

I thought this was a good introt o Jo's character.. and she and Dean had a great dynamic. I didn't see any romance either.. to me, it was a good brother/sister kind of vibe. I mean, in earlier eps this season Jo was crushing on Dean, but not so much now. And I'm curious to see what this new revelation about John does to the relationship between the boys and Ellen and Jo.

I still want to see DEan/Ellen though.

And the Jo bashing has officially crossed the line from fangirl to crazy stalker who you kind of hope the FBI is now tracking. For me, I'm going to wait until the next new ep before I decide if this is a fandom I want to be a part of. Some of those comments crossed the line and honestly, I really hope whoever's modding these things are serious about putting a stop to it or LJ and the other hosts may end up doing it for them by pulling the comms.

But we the flist are cool!! :)

I like Jo. I'm another one who really doesn't see the whole Jo/Dean dynamic but I completely get the brotherly vibe people are talking about. I'm not a big fan of the actress herself but I do like the character. I think some people have gone a bit crazy with how they think the show should be. Hello people, it's just a television show!

I did miss Sammy but I get why he was gone, and we got lots of him this week so it was all good :D

Me too! When the season first started I was worried that they couldn't top season 1, but they've done an incredible job! I think last Thursday's ep was my new favorite, I've watched it three times already.
